It is really a journey of the heart, a journey of faith. Jana carries that journey well. She drives it, directs it, confronts it and soothes it.

When I first heard Jana speak about 15 years ago I remember thinking, “Oh wow, this is really real and my relationship with Jesus has so much more for me.” The more I was around the Greater Things community I began to see how real, raw and genuine everyone is. Jana has a way of being confronting yet in a gentle sort of way. She really gets in your stuff with you and walks life with you.

My most impactful times with Jana and Greater Things has been at beach retreats. The beach is holy ground for Jana so when she opened that up for others to go, I couldn’t wait! It was really like going to that next level. I was able to separate myself from the busyness of life to hear from the Lord. I remember this one time when I was walking on the beach and I asked God to show me His beauty. His immediate response was, “Show me YOUR beauty.” I’ve really never been the same since that moment. That’s the kind of intimacy I’ve learned through Greater Things. God is just yet loves us and thinks we are beautiful.

I would not have experienced what I have at Greater Things without the relationships with the ladies there. It really is a special sisterhood. It’s kinda funny. I would never have sought out these friendships but, yet, they play such a huge role in what we experience in classes or on retreats. It is really a journey of the heart, a journey of faith. Jana carries that journey well. She drives it, directs it, confronts it and soothes it.
